Kids love jeeps!

Sure, check the faces of those kids and you´ll understand it! They´re really enjoying the meeting with my "toy", Spanish made Willys-Viasa CJ3B jeep. You can´t ever find more happiness than that from my friend´s J.Ayala sons, Paula & Eduardo (first 2 shots) , and those from S. Orduna (Willys MB restorer), Egoi and Andoni! These pics were taken last October, 2008.

Hi, fellows!

After many months without any updating, here we go! This past Friday 16-01-2009, I have been visited at Pamplona-Iruña by friend Iñaki Egurza and his really beauty Ford GPW jeep (1945 model one). Nice toy! He came here in order to get the ITV or TUV papers, just a kind of inspection for historic vehicle license plate. More info about his jeep at "A real beauty from the Netherlands!", at the bottom of this blog.

It was a real cool afternoon! And cold, too! After the checking at the local TUV station, we drive it for some minutes and now I realize why the jeep was called too as "pneumonia wagon"! Well, Iñaki drived for 2 hours as he came to Pamplona from his village by the national road! Crazy jeepers!!!! :-)

Well, here you´ll find some shots. One of them shows an old and "sexy" Vespa scooter from a friend and customer of mine, mr. José L. Mier, also a car collector, who assisted that day too to the TUV.

More shots show mr. Sergio Orduna, also a Willys jeep MB owner (now in proccess of "resurection") and mr. Natxo Alberdi aka "Txokate", my pal from The Jeeper Warehouse. Natxo take care of some interesting details of the GPW for his restoration work, too:

And now, the decisive "Operation TUV"!

And our congratulations to Iñaki and his jeep for geeting it! Cheers!!!
