A Tale of 2 CJ6s!

Or call it "Find the differences!". Curiously, at the States the CJ6 jeep was a long stretched chassis variation of the CJ5, and here we show you some pics gratiously sent by fellow jeeper Dave Walker. The jeep belonged to mr. Irwin Turpitt, and she was recently sold.

I really love her blue color and that wheels! Cool! By the way...which was the difference measurements between the CJ5 and the CJ6?

And then, I show you a "nature find"! Yes, I found this at a small mountain village. Kinda jeep monument! It´s a Spanish made CJ6, the longer version of the CJ3B. In fact, the chassis frame and tub were stretched 35 cms. more. The engine is a diesel Perkins 4.108 at 12 volts.

Nice wreck, isn´t it?

Mmm, it´s curious that this long-wheeled version of the CJ3B was only made at France, India and Spain.

I have uploaded more pics here: http://gallery82884.fotopic.net/c236019.html
